About the Plymouth Farmers' Market

Our Mission

The Plymouth Farmers’ Market is organized to provide fresh, local, seasonal produce grown by regional family farmers to be sold directly to Plymouth area residents and visitors. We hope to educate our community about nutritious eating, cultivating a healthy environment and sustainable living. We also hope to provide a social experience that helps build community as well as a local food economy by celebrating seasonal foods and wares in the downtown, waterfront area of Historic Plymouth Harbor.

Each week local farmers bring fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, eggs, cut flowers and plants. Local food crafters bring cheeses, gelato, yogurt, jams, sauces, honey, grain side dishes, take home foods, breads, baked goodies and other handmade sundries such as soaps, herbals, and fresh caught lobsters.

Come to enjoy the fresh produce and homemade goodies while listening to live music each week playing over Plymouth’s inner harbor on Thursday or at the Court House Green on Saturday.

Farmers' Market Coupons

The Plymouth Farmers’ Market is a participant of the Farmers’ Market Coupon Program. Many of the farmers are eligible to accept WIC and SENIOR coupons, and every effort will be made to help coupon holders select fresh, nutritious food. Please come to the market tent if you need any assistance or have any questions, often a WIC staff member will be available.

Parking

For the safety of the many visitors we have at the markets each week there is a traffic manager on-site to help direct you to a parking space. We ask you to be patient as you arrive to each market and to seek the assistance of the traffic manager when maneuvering through the market area.
