Change of Location – The Plymouth Farmers’ Market (PFM) February 13th market will be located inside the Accomack Building at Plimoth Plantation instead of the Henry Hornblower II Visitor Center.
We are giving away a Valentines Day Basket – All visitors to the market may sign up to be included in a drawing to win a Valentine’s Day basket filled with handcrafted artisan products and a local wine generously donated by some of PFM’s talented artisan vendors.
The basket will include a box of Sirenetta Seaside Chocolatier’s Berries and Cream chocolates including Berry Smitten (fresh strawberry ganache in dark chocolate) and Vanilla Tryst (Madagascar vanilla white chocolate ganache in a dark chocolate heart shell) —- a clove cinnamon orange soy wax candle and artisan soap from Back to Basics Soaps — handcrafted wax candles from West Elm Farm — a coffee body scrub from S&B Apothecary — pure local honeyfrom Queen Bee Honey — and a bottle of local wine from Westport Rivers Winery.
Sign up to take this basket home at the market table, on your right as you enter the Accomack Building.
Vendor Update – Say Cheese, formerly Englenook Farm, is now in partnership with Shy Brothers Cheese of Westport, MA, adding even more delicious cheeses to Joanie’s local artisan collection of New England cheeses. Shy Brothers Cloumage was recently named by Bon Appetit’s Andrew Knowlton as one of the Top 10 food trends to watch this year!

Take and Bake | 10am
Make an apple pie to take home and bake. When the English arrived in New England, there were no apple trees here. They created orchards here as soon as possible – they really missed apples! You will learn all sorts of modern-day kitchen skills while you follow a 17th-century English recipe to make your pie!
Cook over a Hearth Fire | 1pm
Prepare a few familiar foods over an indoor hearth in the modern Visitor Center. In the 17th century, pancakes weren’t made from a box! Learn about interesting English recipes for pancakes and fritters, and how to prepare some deliciously different versions of foods we still eat today.
